  • $67,698 - $75,817 pro rata plus superannuation

About the role

The Administrative Officer will provide general administrative support to the Senior School Partnership Advisor and as directed, provide support to sub-units. This role serves as a key part of the administrative process within the College Outreach program and will require the incumbent to organise and maintain various records and files and ensure data and documentation are in compliance with University policies and procedures.

This is a highly visible position with responsibility for a range of confidential matters requiring the ability to exercise considerable judgement, initiative, discretion and independence. Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Diary & email management
  • Liaising with internal/external stakeholders
  • Document/Presentation creation, formatting & proofing
  • Secretariat duties
  • Financial processing (purchase order requisitions, coding, reconciliation)
  • General administration

This position may involve occasional travel to La Trobe’s regional campuses as required.

Skills & Experience

To be successful you will have demonstrated experience in performing a range of administrative support duties. You will possess high level interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring the provision of quality customer service to a wide range of people.  Well developed organisational skills will be required in the busy and varied work environment.  To succeed in this role, you will have a general understanding of University wide Outreach Programs.
