About the position
This position contributes to the knowledge base about how best to build family sensitive practice capability in mental health, alcohol and other drugs services. You will implement family-based and systemic practices in mental health, alcohol and other drugs and related services through the provision of training, supervision and organisational consultation and maintain a clinical family therapy load.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have an appropriate tertiary in social work, nursing, occupational therapy or psychology, a Graduate Certificate or Masters in Clinical Family Therapy qualification and be registered with the Australian Association of Family Therapy. Have demonstrated skills and experience in providing clinical family therapy, training, consultation, supervision and support within an implementation framework to health and other human service practitioners and managers. You will have significant practice experience in the health and human services, preferably in the mental health or alcohol and other drugs field.
You will have a current Victorian Driver’s License, Working with Childrens Check and a willingness to travel and stay overnight in country Victoria, interstate and overseas. (subject to travel restrictions)
