  • Salary level B starting from $114,855 plus 17% superannuation 

 

About the position

This position contributes to the design, delivery and ongoing enhancement of undergraduate and postgraduate Physiotherapy programs. The appointee will deliver high-quality, evidence-based teaching across lectures, tutorials, and practical and settings, including online and blended modes.

The role involves coordinating subjects, providing timely and constructive feedback, and contributing to innovative curriculum design and review. A strong scholarly approach to learning and teaching is expected, including engagement in SoLT and continuous improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will support teaching innovation at subject or course level, contribute to knowledge translation and build productive relationships with clinical and community partners. Administrative and service duties will be undertaken as required by the Discipline Lead or Head of School.

 

Skills and Experience

  • Standing recognised by the University/profession as appropriate for the relevant discipline areas.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching, curriculum development and subject coordination in face-to-face, blended and/or online modes, as evidenced by sustained high results on student feedback on teaching surveys, teaching excellence awards or through other forms of evidence.
  • Evidence of innovative initiatives undertaken in the last three years that have improved the student experience, and the evaluation of effectiveness of these initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence the teaching practice of others.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.
