About the position
- Design, coordinate, and deliver high-quality teaching experiences across various formats.
- Lead innovative curriculum development and reform in Exercise Physiology.
- Engage in high-impact research, producing significant publications and securing research funding.
- Supervise and mentor Honours, Masters, and PhD students, fostering their academic and professional growth.
- Establish and nurture industry networks to support program delivery and enhance student Work Integrated Learning (WIL) experiences.
- Contribute to the leadership and administrative functions within the department, promoting a culture of excellence and inclusivity.
Skills and Experience
- PhD in a relevant discipline, with accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist strongly preferred.
- Proven excellence in curriculum development and teaching.
- Strong research record with evidence of quality and impact, particularly in Sport and Exercise Science.
- Experience in supervising higher degree research students.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and engage effectively with diverse populations.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in teaching and research methodologies.
