About the Position
The Planning Officer plays a crucial role in supporting planning, decision-making, and improvement activities within the Office of the Provost and across Schools. Their responsibilities include managing datasets, conducting analysis, and preparing reports to inform decisions. The officer coordinates governance and discipline committees, provides secretariat support, and monitors planning functions and processes.
This role demands advanced analytical skills, particularly in Excel, to manage enrolment data, identify trends, and interpret complex information. The position requires expertise to adapt procedures, deliver professional services, and provide innovative solutions. The officer acts as a specialist, applying deep knowledge to support stakeholders, resolve operational issues, and guide planning processes.
Additional responsibilities include overseeing student enrolment planning by analysing data, projecting trends, and ensuring compliance with policies. The Planning Officer ensures efficient communication with academic stakeholders and maintains high standards of service quality.
Skills and Experience
