Join La Trobe Business School’s Department of Management and Marketing as we expand our Human Resource Management discipline with a new opportunity for an exceptional academic to contribute to world-class teaching, impactful research, and industry engagement.
We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to deliver innovative, high-quality learning experiences and engage in impactful research aligned to the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) Capability Framework.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver and coordinate engaging undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Human Resource Management.
- Contribute to curriculum innovation and leadership in pedagogy and subject design (especially at Level C).
- Publish in high-quality academic journals (ABDC A* and A).
- Lead or participate in externally funded research projects with industry relevance.
- Supervise Honours and Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students.
- Build industry partnerships and represent the School across academic and professional forums.
What you’ll bring:
- A PhD in Human Resource Management or a closely related field.
- Evidence of a strong track record (appropriate to level) in teaching and curriculum development.
- Demonstrated potential (Level B) or track record (Level C) of publishing in top-tier journals.
- Experience in building relationships across academia and industry.
- A collegial and collaborative approach, with a commitment to excellence in research and teaching.
- Professional and/or research experience aligned with the AHRI Capability Framework.
