About the Role
Working within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, this part-time position supports a range of research and community engagement activities, including:
- Preparing ethics applications and project documentation
- Supporting participant recruitment and community engagement
- Translating materials and communicating in Hindi and Punjabi
- Assisting with workshops, surveys, and interviews
- Collecting and analysing both qualitative and quantitative data
- Contributing to reports, presentations, and publications
You’ll work alongside a committed team in a flexible, inclusive environment where cultural safety, health promotion, and dementia prevention intersect.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A degree in Health Sciences or a related field
- Fluency in Hindi and Punjabi (written and spoken)
- Strong research and organisational skills
- Experience working with CALD communities
- Familiarity with tools such as RedCap, EndNote, Covidence (desirable)
- A current Victorian Working With Children Check and Driver’s License
