Salary range: Professional HE0 5 rate $53.84 plus super
Position Purpose
Reporting to the Advisor, Course Transition, you will work closely with peers and teams across the university to ensure a consistent approach to high quality and accurate service delivery and consistent application of transactional activities and associated procedures.
This includes the responsibility to work across large volume and high-pressure activities, including manual amendments to student study plans. The incumbent will be required to be engaged with students and the academic community. The incumbent is expected to have strong interpersonal skills with a strong ethos around collaboration and employ and maintain a professional, positive, and solution-orientated approach across all work practices and daily interactions.
Duties at this level will include:
- Perform processing activity that supports the execution of course transition activities.
- Performs tasks/assignments which require proficiency in the work area's rules, regulations, processes, and techniques, and how they interact with other related functions.
- Contributes to decision-making by applying a thorough knowledge of complex rules, activities, and procedures to specific cases, making recommendations for senior staff authorisation. Additionally, identifies operational improvements and designs or delivers service support mechanisms (e.g., training materials, system modifications) to enhance service quality, efficiency, and continuity.
- Monitors and maintains records/reports to meet both internal and external requirements.
You will possess:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, especially the capacity to work collaboratively and cooperatively in small teams.
- Demonstrated organisation and problem-solving skills, with an ability to manage several different projects concurrently.
- Demonstrated ability to form a detailed knowledge of academic and administrative policies and the interrelationships between a range of policies and activities
