About the position
The IT Asset and Lifecycle Lead is responsible for the operational oversight of the organisation's IT asset lifecycle managing IT asset inventories, ensuring accurate and complete data, overseeing financial and contract obligations related to IT assets, and ensuring policy compliance.
The role plays a critical part in ensuring IT assets are effectively managed, accurately recorded, and value is maximised throughout their lifecycle. The IS Asset & Lifecycle Lead is tasked with developing and implementing best-practice asset management processes, ensuring that lifecycle activities are efficient, compliant, and aligned with the university’s operational needs.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have:
- A degree, or postgraduate qualifications in IT Asset Management and extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
- Demonstrated experience in IT asset lifecycle management within a large organisational environment.
- Strong knowledge of EUC hardware and software asset management, with specific experience in managing these assets within ITAM/CMDB tools.
- In-depth knowledge of IT asset lifecycle management, including best practices, industry standards, and regulatory compliance.
