About the position
- Provides interpretation, advice and decisions on rules and entitlements. May apply expertise in a particular set of rules or regulations to make decisions or be responsible for coordinating a team to provide an administrative service.
- Requires judgement based on theoretical and technical knowledge pertaining to a range of differing situations. Exercises initiative in the application of systems and procedures.
- Provide and support the efficient and effective delivery of contracts and onboarding for staff, in accordance with La Trobe University awards, agreements, policies, and procedures and in compliance with legislative, statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Produce employment contracts in a timely manner with a high level of accuracy and in accordance with KPI’s.
- Support the talent acquisition services team in the provision of timely, efficient and accurate administration and onboarding processes.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have:
- Completion of a degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated ability to gain a conceptual understanding of relevant policies, procedures
or systems and interpretation in the application of policy and/or precedent.
- Strong quality assurance and compliance experience.
- Strong stakeholder and communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to plan, organise and set priorities.
- A practical, service-driven, resilient manner with a high level of attention to detail, understanding of urgency and a supportive, team-focused approach.
