About the Role

A Level C teaching and research academic is expected to develop curriculum, teach, and/or undertake research and/or other scholarly work relevant to the development of their discipline or professional field.

An academic at this level will make a significant contribution to the occupational therapy discipline at the national level. They will normally play a major role or provide a significant degree of leadership in scholarly, research, and/or professional activities relevant to the profession.

• A PhD in occupational therapy or a related experience.
• Proven excellence in curriculum development and teaching.
• A strong research profile with publications and grant success.
• Outstanding communication and team collaboration skills.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead colleagues and students.
• Demonstrated experience in clinical education is highly desirable.

 

Essential Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration.
• Victorian Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
